Porcelain, 13 pieces: 1 can with cover, height 20,5 cm, 4 cups with 4 saucers, height 8,5 cm, dia 15,2 cm, 2 cups with 2 saucers, height 5,5 cm, dia 11 cm, sides with broad gold edges, gold-painted scattered flowers and flowering branches, gold accented knobs, spouts and handles, also coloured and gold-painted papal coat of arms, gold partially scuffed, small restored and damaged places, 1 saucer with hairline cracks, Ginori, Doccia, Italy, red and gold star marks 1. 3. 19. Jh. (Ru)

Pope Clement VIII (Pope from 1592-1605) was born to the noble family in 1536. In 1605, the Romanesque wall-painting the "Aldobrandini Wedding", probably dating from the 1st Century AD, was discovered, and belonged to the Aldobrandini family; since 1818 it has been housed in the Vatican.
